Program Requirements
If you are a construction contractor, you are eligible to apply even if your business is a startup with limited revenue or operating history. The Biz2Empower eligibility guidelines require companies to have at least (1) business Tax Return with Gross Sales of $150,000 or more, have (1) current minority certification, or have an interest in becoming a government contractor with an intent to obtain a certification such as MBE, DBE, or Texas HUB if not currently certified.
